About James
In 1977, James joined Diversified Construction as a laborer. Following his Service in the Marine Corps James continued to advance through the company, eventually making his way to Project Manager. Today, as President and CEO, James develops, implements and monitors the strategic goals and objectives of the business, including overseeing project management and delivery — while striving to execute at the highest industry standards. His leadership remains grounded in a deep commitment to Diversified’s mission and a relentless focus on surpassing client expectations

With more than 15 years of construction experience across both local and national markets, Thomas brings seasoned leadership and a commitment to excellence to our team. As Lead Project Manager, he oversees the success of all Diversified projects, collaborating closely with our Project Management and Field Teams. Thomas also plays a key role in developing and mentoring our Project Management Team, driving continuous growth and long-term success.

JR began his career with Diversified as an Assistant Project Manager and quickly advanced through hard work, strong leadership, and consistent results. About Martin
Martin brings over 25 years of financial and operational expertise to Diversified Construction, where he leads the accounting team with a focus on integrity, efficiency, and collaboration. His role as Controller goes beyond numbers—he builds systems that strengthen performance and help teams deliver their best work.
Before joining Diversified, Martin held key financial leadership roles at Life Time Inc., Illuminoss Medical, and SpringLeaf Therapeutics, guiding strategic growth and operational improvement. A U.S. Army Finance Warrant Officer by background, Martin’s disciplined approach and commitment to excellence reflect lessons learned through both service and business.

Dermot Rowland established Diversified Construction in 1966, after serving in the U.S. Marine Corps and current Owner of Diversified Construction, James Rowland also served active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps.
