is a key value of Diversified and is shared by its employees.
We encourage involvement in Diversified’s outreach efforts,
and support charitable employee initiatives beyond the workplace.
Our community involvement seeks to assist in changing lives and
strengthening the fabric of our community.
Recent
Community Involvement:
- Resource MRC cash donation. MRC (Minnesota Resource Center) provides customized career services to individuals with disabilities or other barriers to self-sufficiency
– June 2010
- MSCA Golf Event cash donation. Funds raised go to The Caring Tree, which promotes education success for Minnesota’s K-12 students in need by ensuring they have the appropriate school supplies
– June 2010
- Coldwell Banker Burnet Golf outing cash donation. Funds raised go to the Coldwell Banker Burnet Foundation which supports hundreds of community and charity programs. – June 2010
- Sobriety High cash donation. Sobriety High School brings hope to chemically dependent students grades 9-12 by offering a four-year high school diploma program in a safe, sober and chemical-free environment.
- November 2009
- Justin Feldmann Memorial Fund cash donations. Memorial fund set up for Justin’s daughter, Taila Ward, to further her education.
- December 2009
- Downtown Council Skyway Open, mini golf hole construction and cash donation. The Skyway open is an annual fundraiser put on by the Downtown Council for the Boys and Girls Club. It is an indoor mini golf course spread throughout the skyway system in downtown Minneapolis, teams design and construct each hole. There is a mini golf tournament as well as public play time.
- February 2009
- First Tee Charity Golf Tournament cash donation. The tournament raises money for lessons for youth golfers in financial need. The First Tee Charity is a youth development program that combines golf instruction with invaluable life-skills education with priority given to underrepresented populations including golfers with disabilities and those with financial need.
- April 2009
- The Rock Bottom Foundation cash donation to benefit the Minneapolis Miracle who will use those funds to feed and clothe the needy on Christmas Day.
– December, 2008
- The Smile Train cash donation. The mission of The Smile Train is "To provide free cleft surgery for millions of poor children in developing countries. To provide free cleft-related training for doctors and medical professionals until there are no more children who need help and we have completely eradicated the problem of clefts."

- Coldwell Banker Burnet Charity Golf Outing cash donation. Proceeds from the Coldwell Banker Burnet Charity Golf outing will go to The First Tee Foundation. The First Tee Foundation’s mission is “To impact the lives of young people today by providing learning facilities and educational programs that promote character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf.”
– July, 2008
- St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral Vacation Bible School materials donation. The materials are going to be used to build a playhouse which will then be donated to Habitat for Humanity for one of Habitat for Humanity’s homeowners.
- June, 2008
- Max McGee Center for Diabetes Research Fund cash donation in memory of Max McGee. The money raised will play an important role in research, patient care and ongoing educational opportunities provided by Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
– November, 2007
- Habitat for Humanity ReStore materials donation. The materials donated will be sold at a discount to generate revenue for the Habitat for Humanity organization.
- October, 2007
- Ryan Spah Golf Benefit cash donation. Ryan Spah is fighting Burkitts Lymphoma. The money raised will help Ryan’s family pay for medical bills and other necessities for the Spah family during Ryan’s battle with Burkitts Lymphoma.
- October, 2007
- American Stroke Association/ American Heart Association cash donation In Memory of Margaret LaCoursiere. The money raised will help fund lifesaving research and educational programs.
– July, 2007
- Cure Candence Fund cash donation. Candence is a 1 year old child fighting Leukemia. The money raised will help Candence's family pay for medical bills and other necessities for the family during Candence's fight with Leukemia.
– May, 2007
- Hearts and Hammers labor and materials donation. The labor and materials donated were used to fix the windows and exterior of a house owned by a 87 year old woman.
– June, 2007
- City of Minneapolis Fire Department exercise equipment donation. The equipment donated will be used to keep Minneapolis firefighters healthy and promote a healthier lifestyle for the community.
– January 2007

- Coldwell Banker Burnet Adopt - A - Family raffle donation. The money raised from selling raffle tickets is used to purchase gifts and clothing for needy families.
– November 2006
- Madeline A. Sweeney family cash donation to provide a new vehicle to the Sweeney family. Mrs. Sweeney was a flight attendant on board American Airlines flight 11 when it was flown into the North Tower of the World Trade Center. Mrs. Sweeney relayed information about the hijacking on board to ground control warning of the attacks. She left behind a husband and two children.

- Special Olympics Minnesota cash donation to provide year-round sports training and competition to individuals with intellectual disabilities.
– August 2006
- Sabathani Community Center cash donation to support strengthening of youth, children and families, and to build the capacity of the multi-racial, multi-cultural community that Sabathani serves.
– May 2006

- Helping Little Heroes cash donation supporting Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota.

- Helping Paws cash donation furthering the independence of individuals with physical disabilities through the use of dogs.

- Hearts and Hammers donation of a 30-yard dumpster to assist in revitalizing the homes of homeowners.

- Perspectives Family Center cash donation supporting comprehensive programs for homeless and at-risk children and families.

- Kids Day America cash donation dedicated to children’s health, safety and environmental awareness.

- Cornerhouse cash donation supporting Emergency Child Abuse Evacuation and Training Center.
